This document contains the release information for Oracle9iAS Release 2 (9.0.3). It describes differences between Oracle9iAS Release 2 (9.0.3) and its documented functionality.

Oracle9iAS installation and configuration will not complete successfully unless users meet the hardware and software pre-requisite requirements before installation.
The software requirements for AIX as listed in Chapter 2 of the Oracle9iAS Web Cache Installation Guide are incorrect. Table 1-1 lists the correct requirements.

The software requirements for Tru64 UNIX as listed in Chapter 2 of the Oracle9iAS Web Cache Installation Guide are incorrect. Table 1-2 lists the correct requirements.

Window Manager | X Windows must be installed on the system from where the Installer is run. Use any HP-supported X Windows server with support for Motif, such as dtwm, twm, and mwm. Character mode installations are not supported for Oracle9iAS Release 2 (9.0.3)
The X environments, Basic X-environments (OSF11), and X Servers (OSFSER) are required to run graphical products.. |
